What age group sends the most text messages in the US?

If you are parent of a 13-17 year old , you already know the answer…
your teen and his/her friends.
This study done by The Nielsen Company suggests that:
- Parents need to review with their teens how to text responsibly–
not while driving, eating dinner, or during class. And, sexting is absolutely out. - Parents can use text messages to stay in touch with their teens–97% of text messages get read.
- Families with teens need unlimited text plans!
Any other ideas for helping your son or daughter use that cell phone responsibly?

My daughter who is five asked for an ipod touch for her birthday. I was floored. Keep in mind I have the first generation ipod classic. So if her wish was granted (and it’s a looong shot) she would have a device that would make me envious.
…But it’s really about the choices we make. Did I make the correct choice? And if not can I learn from it and make a better choice next time? I hope to guide my children in making many more good choices verse bad.
Okay I just jumped off of my soap box.
Thanks for the post.
