Ya wanna know what helps me? (Pardon da slang, I'm one uh da Jersey Boyz.) Lavendar essential oil and Chamomile tea. I just picked up 4 oz of a really nice French Lavendar oil on ebay for about $12 with shipping. Has a nice, deep resiny nose, and it has good hang-time, doesn't disappear too quickly. This is my third bottle; I previously bought some Bulgarian oil and another French blend. The Bulgarian stuff was powerful enough, but was a bit on the sweet side without much depth. The other French oil was a nice mix of sweetness and resin, but it was too volatile, didn't hang for long.

Yes, I do see a need for essential oil reviews akin to fine wine reviews. We need a Robert Parker for essential oils!

So you're now Twittering. Fantastic, but I'm staying away from it. Seems too tied in with the high-stress world. When I write or read, I want to sit down, relax and ponder -- as you would with a fine glass of California wine (or a nice lavendar oil). Another sign of old age, I guess. Twitter away, but please try to keep up the thoughtful blogging too!
